How Can Severe Anxiety In A Child Be Treated?

5 yr old adopted grandson, was exposed to meth. sees a pediatric psych. now for outburst, hitting, running away, tantrums and the list goes on. The psych. has tried numerous medications, NOTHING helps...I m at my wits end....I think he needs something to calm him, to control anxiety but all I get is Lithium and everthing that leads up to lithium...Adderall...I can t list all of them. Is there not a simple anxiety reliever medication that can help children....

Hello,

You can give him Homeopathic medicine Aconite 200 (4 pills) twice a day for 5-6 days. Along with it, give Tab. Kali Phis 12× 2 Tabs. Before an hour of sleep. Along with that:

* Allow him to do the things he likes to do.
* Try to convince him when he is calm.
* Play with him what he loves to play.
* Be cool and calm when he is anxious.
* Take him outside once in a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Meeta Asnani
