How Can Severe Arthritis In The Shoulders Be Treated?

Hi, I have severe arthritis in my shoulders. My doctor is giving me a choice between Tizanidine or Gabapentin for pain. I m just looking for a second opinion. I can t take NSAIDS because of high blood pressure. What are your thoughts? Thanks Jim Crawford

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should start with Tizanidine medicine which can help very well and if it leads to any problem, then we can go for Gabapentin drug.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
