My doctor just put me on lamotrigine. I started taking 1 tablet or 25 mg for 15 days. Then I am to start taking 2 tablets a dsy. I switch to 2 tablets on September 17 th. I have been weeping at the drop of a hat. I have been having terrible pain all over my body. I feel like I am on fire. I have many things going on my body and am in constant pain. I take turmeric and ibrophen for the pain. Some days it helps other days it does not do anything. I have a collapsed arch, bone on bone in kees and rotary cuffs. Arthuritis, pinched nerve in leg and foot, fluid on knee. Lymphedema in left leg and it is traveling into the other leg. One of the side effects I read said you could have sores on your tongue. I have had sores come and go since Christmas 2016. My doctor s answer to the painful tongue is to say I do not see anything. I gave up after I asked her twice and got the same answer both times. Also does this medicine cause weight gain? Can it cause me to cry on and off and can it cause me to hurt all over? I am a 71 year old female. Forget it I am on a limited income and live in a Hud subsided housing. I do not have the money to pay just now.
