How Can Severe Dehydration Be Treated?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise. I usually advice ORS (WHO approved) to mild and moderate dehydration patients. It is specifically made to enhance electrolyte and glucose absorption from gut. ORS 20.5 gm sachet is dissolved in 1 liter drinking water. drink as much as you can and discard solution after 24 hour if not used. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards Dr. Hiren
