How Can Severe Depression And Aggressive Behaviour Be Treated?

My son is 21 and was put on Remeron, adderall and clean and is doing horrible. Wants to raise the dose but my son is barely functioning. He had minor depression before but now vassilates from being a zombie and and a aggressive out of control person. Thoughts?
