Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Bipolar disorder is a chronic disease that warrants long-term treatment. It's a phasic illness in which phases of mania or depression come. The primary aim is to keep mood at a stable phase and for that mood stabilizer is required. You might need antidepressant in the beginning under cover of mood stabilizer. There are good medication available. Don't make yourself suffer seek psychiatrist help as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
