How Can Severe Diarrhea Be Treated?
My friend has lots of waterly diarrhea , even like mucous , the GI specialist says its caused by germs, she was on Metronidazole , Biaxin & some probiotic for 4 weeks a month ago , now the medicine stops & the symptoms come back ,so the GI specialist prescribed Candomycin 250 mg qid for 14 days, but Rx is very expensive 4700.00 for 56 - 60 pills is there someting spells like Candomycin or something like this spelling?

As per your history, it may be due to stomach infection
For that you may require complete hemogram, stool analysis and antibiotics after consultation.
In case of not getting relief you may require Colonoscopy after consultation. Take soft diet.
You can also take tablet loperamide and electral sachet
