How Can Severe Fatigue And Pain In The Knees Be Treated?
I have struggled with extreme fatigue and my body hurting for the past two years. I do fairly well in the morning but by late afternoon and evening, my knees and hips especially hurt and I have to fight to make it through the rest of the day. I also feel weakness in my shoulders and arms and my lower legs feel sore to the touch. When the day is especially rough I will run a low grade temp between 99.2 to 99.8 in the evening. My primary medical doctor did a full blood panel and everything came back normal other then my vitamin D level being low. The things I have done that have seemed to help the most include lots of rest, reducing stress, and taking a good probiotic and 10000 UI of Vitamin D. I also began taking 10mg of Lexapro at my doctor s recommendation. These symptoms began during a time when we went through a severe family crisis. I had been doing real well for the past 8-9 months, but then 3 weeks ago my sypmtoms flared up again. Should I ask my primary doctor about referring me to some type of specialist?
