General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

While he has Parkinson's and dementia diseases, both give to him depressive mood, lethargy, difficulty swallowing, because they are progressive neurodegenerative diseases. It means that every day neurons die. You must be prepared for everything, and the best thing to do is to consult with his neurologist to explain what to expect further. He may switch medication or low dosage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
