Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain on both sides of my groin area. I was doing some garden work yesterday, after i finished and took a shower i was fine, i went out to pick up some food and a few hours later in the evening i started to feel the pain. I thought it was just a strain and that i would feel better in the morning, however i still have the pain. Is there something I can do or should i see a doctor?
All the choices are not very good. Either it is a hernia and you need surgery (not very likely but I have to mention it) or it is a groin pull. The problem is you can't really rest it. Rest is essential and just not possible. The other things to do with a sprain are ice the first day and then warmth, Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories and physcail therapy.
