How Can Severe Headache And Vomiting Be Treated?

Pounding headache... appears to be brought on by something I ate. After 4-5 vomiting spells, it seems to go away. this has happened 3-4 times over the past 12 months. Currently suffering this condition. Unable to empty stomach of offending substance, so headache has continued for 4+ hours. Unable to keep water down and feel very dehydrated.

Ok, not able to keep anything down is going to require emergency intervention by 12 to 24 hrs. There can be severe causes for this (increased pressure in the brain) but it is UNLIKELY that there wouldn't be other problems by 12 months. Brain tumors would likely be fatal in less time. Non-cancer ones, though or anything that blocks flow of fluid through the brain can do this and these are entirely treatable. Basically it is a reason to get a brain scan.

Migraines affect about 1 in 5 people and occur at any age and do this also.
