hi there , I read your query and can understand your concerns...

first of all I would like to know which medications your daughter is taking for migraine...

there are two types or medications available for the treatment of migraine.. first preventive and second symptomatic..

for prevention, propranolol and flunarizine tablets are usually given

for the immediate treatment of migraine attack, sumatriptan drug given which is now available as nasal spray that works immediately cause drug directly reaches brain...

you can ask your doctor about this medication for relief..

further take some measures yorself..like avoid going out in sun.. have proper sleep(about 8 hours) , be stressful, practice relaxation and meditation techniques, avoid caffeine , chocolates, sugar and alcohol...

hope it helps... regards...
