we spent all day yesterday in the er, it was determined the diverticulitis has an infection, my fiance was given Metronidazole 500mg and ciprofloxacin 500mg. in the hospital they gave him an iv and a pill, he didnt have food all day yesterday until 6 or 7 in the evening. It was a big mac and fries that he wanted. I didnt get back from appointments until around 4pm with the meds. He took both antibiotics and has been very dizzy and unstable since. He wanted tomato soup and vomited quickly. He is 76 and is normally in good health. The nausea is scary for him. Can I help him?
