How Can Severe Nausea Be Treated?

Ever since having the flu about 6 wks ago, I have unbearable nausea. I am 71, no health problems, except over weight. I take Prozac, and thyroid, and Claritin. Ihave been for many years. I am trying my best to NOT VOMIT, but it is very hard. I get nausea everyday, but not all day. I usually eat something, and feel a little better, but not today. I wake up at night with this, like a pregnant woman. I dont know, what to do. Just drinking gingerale, or ginger tea, but I am sick of fighting this.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You Can take tab. Happi D once a day in morning.
Notice weather you have other problems or not.
If you have acidity, abdominal bloating then get USG abdomen done for bile sac and duct problems.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
