How Can Severe Neck Pain Be Treated?

I’ve been under pain mang for like 20 yrs and just had neck surgery 2 months ago and I was at a pain dr and only seen him 3times and he didn’t even ask to see medical history on me and my surgeon goes to his office and did my neck surgery and all my back surgeries and I’ve been on the same meds for years 100mg morph er and break through oxycodon 10 mg and never ask for meds to be higher I mang my pain and I didn’t like the way I was being treated. By the new pain mang dr and so he kicked me I’ve never been kicked never been tested positive etc and now my meds are running out I’m scared what should i do I called my surgeon and they said he won’t write me meds but it’s ok for him to put me through 8hrs of neck fusions but can’t make sure I’m comfortable help me plz

This much intense pain indicates possible neurologic compression after fusion surgery.

Though you can get primary relief with heating pad application, analgesic tablets, and local analgesic spray; in our clinic, I recommend MRI of the operated part for best possible evaluation.
