How Can Severe Pain After Removal Of Tumors From The Neck Be Treated?
hi i had sugrey 2 years ago i had tumors removed from my neck all the way down to my c7 spine the tumor was wrapped around the spinal cord im in so much pain i can barley walk after two years and my hands burn constantly the bad headaches are back and my pain med has stopped working im in bed almost all the time because i cant push my own wheel chair right now im only on oxycode 15 mg and gabapenntiyn 300 mg i take 3× a day i need help but who do i go too i had only 6 sessions of theropy after my sugrey can any medication help with the pain so i can start taking care of myself i have no rods are anything to hold my neck up they sawed those bones out and took some out of my back and took some of my spine who can i turn to for help after the tumors got removed but some is still there they couldnt get ?
You can take analgesics like Tramadol or Oxycodone for pain relief. Complete the chemotherapy and later plan for a CT scan to assess any residual lesion remains in the neck.
If there is any residual lesion left after the chemo, you can consult an oncologist and be evaluated.
