How Can Severe Pain And Depression Be Treated?

I have been on r Effexor 150 capsd I have been on Effexor 150 mg caps 2 a day. I have also been on oxycodone 20 mg 4 times a day for pain. Both meds I have been on for years. I recently lost my insurance due to my husband lost his job. Had to cut expenses. Decided to go off the pain meds and see if I could manage the pain without. It has been 6 months and I have delt with the pain but it is getting the best of me. I also notice my Effexor isn t working. Don t have energy, very sad, want to sleep all day. Can my depression be worse because I am no on the opioids? I need to see another Dr. Because the Dr. I have gone to for years doesn t accept my new insurance. What new Dr. Should I see? One for depression, one for pain. One that can do both?

Sudden stopping of pain killer not good for health. slowly withdrawal is advised. You may continue antidepressant (Effexor). Eat green leafy vegetables, use multivitamin and mineral tablets. Do yoga and meditation. you may consult your psychiatrist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
