How Can Severe Pain And Numbness In The Right Hand Be Treated?

In March of 2017 30 To 40 lbs of a sack full body of canned gravy was dropped on my right wrist and fingers. My right hand and arm swelled up to nearl three times it’s size. Fast forward to October 22, 2017. The swelling is gone. But..I have tingling and numbness along with severe itching of my entire hand with shooting pain and tingling and numbness of my entire right hand since March 2017. At night my right hand, wrist has shooting pains 24/7. Sometimes I don’t know how I e survived the horrible pain. But I do! Barrack Obama took our medical insurance away. I ask nothing of you but to help me do all I can to use a home remedy to ease the severe nightly shooting pains and continues swelling as I arise in the AM. I take Ibuprofen. That’s it! I Sincerely am Sorry‼️ to have to ask for free advice. Jeanne Heilman YYYY@YYYY YYYY

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can take Aceclofenac and Paracetamol tab twice a day for 5 days. You can take Rabeprazole tab twice a day for 5 days. Apply Diclofenac spray on affected site. Apply warm water bag on affected site. If not resolved then consult your orthopedic surgeon. Do X-ray of affected part and do physiotherapy, it is also helpful.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
