How Can Severe Pain And Swelling In The Right Leg Be Treated?

I just had an angioplasty and stent placement on my right leg, During the procedure an artey was torn some and had internal bleeding in my right thigh. A coverd stent was placed in the bleed area, but extreme pain and swelling resulted in the leg. I was told the bleed would be absorbed by my body in time. Leg is still very sore in the thigh area, What and how long should I expect before pain and use of leg is back to normal?

To control PAD, it is recommended to do daily walking, staying away from addictions and maintaining all the vitals, stay connected with the treating doctor.
