How Can Severe Pain Between The Shoulder Blades And Tingling Sensation On The Head Be Treated?

i have intermittent pain through out the day. Episodes last 5 minutes to one hour. Pain is with breathing and is centralized between should blades. It feels like someone is pushing their fist into my back. With the episodes, I feel hot and start to sweat. Pain scale is 6-8. I had one episode that included a tingling sensation that started at the top of my head and descended to my pelvis. I also have the inexplicable need to belch after episode is completed. I am exhausted!

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The severe pain between shoulder blades can be related to a muscle spasm. This can be relieved with oral muscle relaxants, increased fluid intake and methylcobalamin supplements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
