Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with 3 protuding discs, stenosis and degenerative disc disease. When I bend over I have severe pain in my stomach directly under the hip bone. can this be from the pinched nerves? I also get a burning tingling sensation in my stomach.
Burning sensation in stomach suggests peptic dyspepsia or acidity related.
Oral proton pump inhibitor like Pantoprazole helps in such cases. The protruding disc will cause root pains, radiating down from the spine, especially on bending forward.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Tushar Kanti Biswas, Internal Medicine Specialist
