How Can Severe Pain Due To Neck Injury Be Treated?
Hi I had a neck injury over a year ago. 3 mri s later 3 injections, surgeon said I was no candidate for surgery. It is a work comp. I have been given cymbalta for nerve pain. I also take, sulindac 200mg 2x day, and omeprazole dr 20 1x. I see on this site that they conflict. Should I quit taking them?
* Chronic Cymbalta consumption is harmful in many systemic ways beyond its safety limits in many of the cases, so should be discontinued on a tapering basis.
* So far as the management of pain is concerned, if it is beyond 5 over the scale of 10, then help from interventional pain management specialist must be sorted out from this point ahead.
* If further details of recent MRI or else is provided to me, it would be of immense benefit to guide furthermore precisely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
