How Can Severe Pain In The Feet Be Treated?

I fell down the steps and landed on my bottom 14 months ago, huge bruise and hematoma for about 6 months. Ex-ray showed no fracture. Still very painful if I am on my feet long periods of time, and pain goes up into my back. My regular Doctor says it is probably nerve damage. Could the pain be related to my fall that long ago?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with conditions like plantar fasciitis.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. In that, you might require steroid injection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
