General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
You can consult a Podologist & get advise for a change of shoe pattern, shoe inserts. Go for regular walks along with stretching exercises & over the counter pain medicine when pain is unbearable. Local steroid injection is not likely to affect your pacemaker activity. If nothing helps surgery is the only way left for relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
