I have been told the pain was from my sciatic joint in my hip. I did physical therapy which helped for awhile . With summer here and being more active it has gotten a lot worse. It is the worst in the morning trying to get out of bed. My question is , Is ther a shot I can get in my hip to make it quit hurting

Hello
Thanks for putting your query over here.
I understand your query.

If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Analgesics like acetaminophen /ibuprofen twice a day for 5 days with antacids.
-Local warm compress application for 15-20 minutes ,3-4 times a day for 2 days.
-If the pain doesnot recedes in 48 hours or worsens, you may have an appointment with orthopaedician.Corticosteroid injection in hip joint can be considered for pain relief.
-Regular calcium and Vit D supplementation is needed to improve bone health.

Feel free to ask me any more doubts.
