Hello,

I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties now post THR.

I will come straight to the point. Are you diabetic or have any signs of High Blood Pressure. Please keep monitoring if you have either or both at regular intervals. Now coming to therapy part, did you underwent the post THR rehabilitation under a competitive physical therapist? If not then it is the time you should get involved under the guidance of PT for achieving the maximum strength in the muscles to make you perform the ADL (activities of daily living). Post THR there will be a weakness on the side operated and also the other side. Undergoing a PT will help you to a much extent, you can take my words.

In my practice, over a period of 12 years, we have successful THR cases and all are even doing for longer walks and having a good active lifestyle. As soon as soon as the THR is performed we take the case to proper 180 days of a rehabilitation program on an individual basis and provide the best utmost outcome score.

I am sure you can recover. you need a competitive physical therapist who can work on behind you and get you back to life.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
