I have avascular necrosis to both hips for 10 years right side was more than left. I never had pain in left side. i had i hip replacement to the right hip the pain left completely but now i have strange pain to the left hip is not the same that i had to the right hip Is this happening because i am changing the way i walk??what can i do?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain will not go away on it's own, as you have avascular necrosis to the left hip. I suggest you painkillers such as Naproxen or Voltaren with doctor prescription but the only solution is surgery with hip replacement. Be careful not to gain weight, do not carry heavy weight too.
All the best!
