My doctor knows about my heart issues and Pad I have really messed up knees and should a knee replacement but the orthopedic some doctor I have never seen said I have too many health issues to get a procedure. I am in constant pain. My 2 questions is is the topical gel ok to use occasionally and i feel if they can replace 80 year olds with hips why am such a risk. Hi,

You are having severe degree Osteoarthritis according to history. For that knee replacement is the final solution. But considering your age and cardiac history it's not advisable to undergone operation.

You can be prescribed glucosamine containing tablets like Cartisafe D, like tablet for inducing building of cartilage and help in Osteoarthritis. You can Consult good joint and spine surgeon for examination and further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
