I get these sudden severe pains in my left thigh, so sharp it takes my breath away and i can t move. I can feel heat in the spot of the pain. It feels like the bone. I reported it in July and have only like 4 of these incidents. I can t put my leg in certain positions because it causes pain to the area. but otherwise, it hasn t bothered me much.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pain in the thigh may be related to spinal nerve injury that radiates to the thigh, it may also be related to thigh muscles strain.
The type of pain prescribed by you might be caused by muscle strain.
However, it necessary a physical examination to make a differential diagnosis.
You can use anti-inflammatory treatment (Ibuprofen three times a day for some days), physiotherapy and massages also may help to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
