How Can Severe Pain In The Legs And Scrotum Be Treated?

SOn 19 has severe pain in penis area, pain starts in back of leg up to scortom then to penis.. He has been to several doctors for relief and has been tested for : STD s, had xrays, Cat scans, seen medical doctor and uralogist. One doctor said prostatitis the other said no too young. Pain is so severe he passes out.. Nothng presecribed for pain was told to take Ibprofrin but again nothing is helping. Can you please help

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In young patients, we should rule out urinary stone (either in kidney or ureter or bladder or urethra). So get done CT IVP (Intravenous pyelography). Sometimes ultrasound can be false negative. Another possibility is prostatitis. So get done urine culture after prostate massage. Empirical higher antibiotic trial should be given.
