How Can Severe Pain In The Lower Back And Buttocks Be Treated?

I was hitting balls at the golf course when i doubled over with lower back or upper buttocks pain. Shooting pains so I couldnt bend to even putt. Did not try to play. It is on the right side lower back just below the belt line. Felt like a pulled muscle or nerve pain. Very hard to walk or bend. It is a little better with aleve but still sharp pain if i move too quick On a golf trip with 20 guys and would like to play tomorrow. Any suggestions

Looks like a case of muscle spasm. If you were my patient I would give you muscle relaxants like Chlorzoxazone. Also I would suggest warm bath to relieve inflammation and pain. Avoid extreme flexion of back and also avoid massage over the affected area. Hope it helps. thank you.
