Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had two vertebraes fracture due to compression (T9, T10) The vertebrae were in bad shape! My Dr is doing a PET scan blood work and urinalysis! After vertiplasy I am still in pain in my lower back! My ribs hurt as do my hips! I have Osteopenia and take calcium and Boniva. What are they testing for? Gaylee Mendenhall
As per your clinical history is concerned to a present MRI scan to know the current status and you are taking right medications. If you have no clinical sign except pain now then you may be advised for physiotherapy for few weeks which will control your discomfort if not done after surgical procedure.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
