Hi there I have a bulging disc on my lower back I started to leak abit six months now I m wetting the bed I m waiting to see a spinal surgeon I m in alot of pain I m on morphine patches but they are not working for me could you please tell me if it s serious as I can t walk to the shop anymore as the pain is in my legs it s horrible thanks Tracey
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Yes, this is serious condition. Bulging disc can compress nerves an cause leg pain, numbness etc. You are also having urine incontinence. This is suggestive of worsening of compression. So you need urgent spine surgery to relieve nerve compression. So consult spine surgeon as early as possible. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
