How Can Severe Pain In The Neck Be Treated?

I woke up yesterday evening felt like i slept on my neck wrong. since then its gotten alot worse movement any direction extremly painful, even swallowing causes a pressure feeling in my neck on the right side only. feel no lumps see no lumps but feels like a baseball size hot ball where the shoulder starts up the neck about at my hair line, pushing on it is extralmy painful, lightly rubbing it hurts but kinda relives pain for a second what shpuld i do?

Did you have any trauma or fall?? ...if no then take myoril 4mg or tab diclo 50 mg for 3 day's...and diclo gel for local application.....if problem persists do one cs spine x ray....
