How Can Severe Pain In The Ribs Be Treated?

I slipped on a rug and fell in my bathroom last night and landed on the edge of the tub onto my kidney and ribs. I have severe pain, producing some urine but not much, and I don t see any blood in it. Should I go to the ER to be checked or wait it out to see if the pain subsides. Its been a little over 12 hours since I did it.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having trauma history in bathroom

So it might be muscular strain pain or mild underlying organ injury

Hematuria not present Hence kidney affection seems less likely

But still USG scan is advisable to rule out any underlying injury if present for further work up

Take care

Hope this will help you
