How Can Severe Pain In The Ribs Be Treated?

I fell in my yard but didn t hit my ribs.on my fourth day and by the end of the it hurts worse than first or second day? Could I have pulled the muscle away from the rib.I am 54yrs old and have had broken ribs 20 yrs ago. Any treatment to reduce pain.Tkx BB
