My husband is 69 years old and has severe pain in his right shoulder. Three years ago he had xrays done and because of arthritis he was directed to get physical therapy. He did but it did not do much. About 2 weeks ago he loaded some heavy firewood into the back of a truck and then threw it into a wood chute. Since then he has had pain, went to the doctor and had a steroid shot into joint. Was given injection 12/7/17 in am. Felt good that day then the next day, up to now, has had difficultly standing up because pain is so severe. What can he do to help relieve pain for the night. Has been taken 800 mg of ibuprofen every 4 to 5 hours. His blood pressure was high when he went in for steroid shot, so isosorb mono was increased from 30mg to 60mg. Morning blood pressure was around 180/100. Can you recommend a physician in Anchorage, AK that can help decide if surgery is needed. Thank you, Christine Sanders
