General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Consult orthopedic surgeon at earliest and get X-ray chest done in proper position to detect fracture of sternum or ribs.
If there is no fracture, pain might be of muscle spasm which is treated by tablet diclofeanc + chlorzoxazone 12 hourly for 2-3 days.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards
Dr. Hiren
