How Can Severe Pain In The Shoulder And Upper Arm Be Treated?

have been previously diagnosed with partial rotator cuff tear. Have been getting cortisone injection which appeared to have helped with movement and pain. Yesterday I hurt my shoulder in a fall and the pain in my shoulder is now a shooting pain and radiates to upper arm. Cannot move my arm very much at all w/o severe pain.

elevation

activity modification

strengthening exercise and physical therapy

Pain medication may be helpful for u

you can take ibuprofen,naproxen. it will reduce your pain.dont overdose it.it may cause ulcer

cortisone is very effective to reduce pain.

treatment option purely depends on your activity level .
