How Can Severe Pain In The Shoulders And Joints Be Treated?

I have had RA for 13 years & have been able to manage with Enbrel, Methotrexate. Six months ago had huge flair up with significant pain in upper shoulders & bicep pain when reaching up. Unable to remove shirt by crossing my arms to pull over my head, etc. Difficulty kneeling down & more significant in joint areas in am. My RA doctor unable to figure it out. Have had MRI on shoulder, cortisone shots both shoulders & have changed anti-inflammatory drugs. Nothing seems to be working. RA doctor feels might not be my RA, but that is how it all started. Any suggestions?

Have you had x-ray of shoulders done? There may be a local problem that may show up and require specific treatment--regards
