How Can Severe Pre-eclampsia Be Treated?

Hi, I am 40 and about 7 years severe pre-eclampsia. Daughter is doing excellent. However, afterwards I started to develop severe headaches and backaches. I've had an MRI in 2013 or 2012 which only showed a 2.7 cm pineal cyst, questioned to a pineocytoma by another radiology. The neurosurgeon stated that wouldn't be causing, but I am still having these debilitating symptoms. I'm out of options. I have never taken additive meds to manage this, as a general rule. I work at home and this is interfering with my work.

Thanks for contacting with your health concern:

1. with a history of preeclampsia there is every likelihood of developing high blood pressure [hypertension], heart disease and stroke, thus symptomwise approach is as follow:

i. salt restricted or salt-free diet.
ii. sleep in left lateral position
iii. Monitor protein in urine and blood pressure 4 hourly
iv. Get an opinion from a GYNOBG Doctor for necessary antihypertensive medicine [methyldopa or Atenolol] and since seizure is the main concern with this condition thus anticonvulsive medication is also necessary.
v. get a second opinion from a Neurosurgeon regarding the tumor and its effect
