General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Welcome to Health care magic. I understand your concern.
The pain you have is due to nerve compression by the degenerated vertebra. As it's broken... surgery is the only way for relief.
You should consult a spinal surgeon .. explain him about your basic problems of COPD & bipolar psychology . With consultation of concerned experts taking care of these problems.. you can undergo the surgery very well.
Please be bold & move forwards with all due care as per expert advise...& get rid of the troublesome pain.( for the pain would hardly go away with simple physiotherapy or life long medication)
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
