How Can Severe Spinal Stenosis Be Treated?
Why is my physician giving me Fosamax 70mg oral 1 per week when my x rays and dexa scan,etc. all tests came back with diagonosis of sever Spinal Stenosis..I am in extreme pain,I don t take anything for pain and Doctor is contradicting the diagnosis..He told me to go shopping and push cart..I can t get to a Neurologist and I need to know if I keep fighting is this curable..Thank you

X-rays and Dexa scan cannot diagnose Spinal Canal Stenosis. X-rays can only point to a possible narrowing in Spinal /canal which will be diagnosed only on MRI. Dexa Scan will show weakness in the bones. I suggest you get MRI to diagnose Spinal Canal Stenosis.
