How Can Severe Swelling In The Legs And Feet Be Treated?
I have a male friend 59 years old very over weight....With terrible swelling in both legs and feet. They are seeping he takes 40 mg. of Lasiks a day....he can barely walk and severe pain....Is there a specialist he could see...At this point just wrapping legs....
the picture is not clear if he has any other comorbidities like diabetesHigh blood pressure or heart problems
swelling of feet could be due to several factors heart failure venous insufficiency lymphatic dysfunction
if it's just fluid along with Lasix he can use barley water to help reduce the body water there is fluid away safe herbal medication that can be taken along with it
but the actual problem underlying the fluid accumulation needs to be diagnosed and treated to avoid the complications of dehydration and fluid imbalances. it's good to consult a physician to evaluate the cause.
