How Can Severe Tooth Ache Due To Infection Be Treated?

Iam having g severe tooth ache due to infection in the last two tooth's.it has deep cavities. Sometime back I got it filled up. but now all the fillings gone off and there is deep cavity.The dentist says refilling is not possible due to deep cavities and also due to severe infection. The dentist has suggested following medication for 5 Days.
Ordent T
Metafor forte
Rantac 150.
He says extraction is only solution due to deep infection.
Please provide your expert advice.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern


As per your complain in case of there is deep infection in your teeth and it has reached to the level that it cannot be saved by conservative treatment then the last option left is extraction only..

But in case if you are reluctant to get the teeth extracted then you can consult an Endodontist and get evaluated and get an x ray of your teeth done..

It will help in ruling out the position of teeth and if they can be saved Root canal treatment can be done followed by capping of teeth..

The medication given to you are appropriate and will help in reducing pain and infection..
Also do cool compresses over the cheek..
