General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Definitive treatment for scoliosis is surgical fixation of vertebrae by neurosurgeon.
Possible reason for weakness would be difficulty in breathing and that's why poor oxygenation of blood.
So please consult neurosurgeon and he will guide you further.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards
Dr. Hiren
