Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe wrist pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like injuries like soft tissue injury , osteoarthritis , carpal tunnel syndrome , ganglion cysts or kienbock's disease. I would suggest you to give your wrist proper rest , apply warm compresses on wrist thrice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or blood test . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , steroid injection , anti inflammatory along with physical therapy . Doctor may also recommend surgery in severe joint damage .Keep your forearm in hot water tub with epsom salt for 15 minutes daily .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
