How Can Sharp Pain Above The Navel Along With Abdominal Swelling And Nausea Be Treated?

I have sharp pain above my belly button, just to the left. Pain increase's with deep breaths and is positional, (hurts worse laying on my side). Pain has increased over the past 24hrs, my abdomen is very swollen and I'm somewhat nauseous. It doesn't feel stomach related. Tylenol and Advil don't seem to bring relief.

Hello
Welcome to Ask doctor service
I have reviewed your query, and here is my advice.
Gastritis may be the cause for the symptoms of left side upper quadrant pain stated here, possibility of gastric ulcer need to be ruled out till then condition can be managed with PPI (Proton pump inhibitor ) like Omeprazole once in day, try to avoid taking heavy and spicy meal, alcohol, smoking coffee, stay away from the stress, infection also need to be ruled out.
Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
