How Can Side Effects Of Atenolol Be Managed?
my doctor has prescribed atenolol which I have taken daily for some time---I have read that possible side effects are weight gain, cold hands and feet, lightheadeness, and nightmares---I have experienced all of these but my doctor doesn t want me to stop taking this med. Any solution?

Some beta-blockers causes weight gain like Atenolol and Metaprolol. Newer beta-blockers doesn't cause weight-gain likely. You can try Atenlol with diuretics, it will help u.
