I started taking the generic form of Zoloft on Tuesday 50 mg, decided to switch to taking it in the morning so waited until yesterday and I have been having horrible side effects. I cut the pill in half this morning and I really want to stop taking them. How do I do this??

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Zoloft is an antidepression drug with serious side effects. So ideally should be taken under guidance of a psychologist. Please consult one. Let him assess your health &prescribe suitable drug in proper dose to be followed up regularly with the doctor till it gets adjusted.
